Silk is a Janus Clue located in Nepal. To get this Clue online, you must add the 6 cards from The Emperor's Code.

History[]

Mountaineer George Mallory hid the Clue on the top of Mt. Everest for the Chinese emperor, Puyi.

Amy and Dan found a poem written in Chinese on a silk cloth (which Dan blew his nose into to pretend it was a hankerchief) that read (translated with the help of Alistair Oh):

"That which you seek, you hold in your hand,

Fixed forever in birth,

Where the Earth meets the sky"

- Book 8: The Emperor's Code (page 56)

Eventually figuring out that the Clue was referring to the silk cloth itself as the Clue, the two set off for Mt. Everest using the ultra-light helicopter called the A-Star, where, after a struggle with competing family members, discovered the Janus Serum, a combination of all the Janus Clues that will grant the drinker all the abilites of a Janus.

About Silk[]

Silk is a fabric that is made from secretion by silk worms. It is very silky and smooth and is valued. Some people believe that it is the most valuable of all fabrics and this may be why it is a Clue. The silk worm is the larvae of the Domestic Silkmoth and can only produce silk as a larvae.

Cutscene[]

The scene shows the mightiest mountain in the world, the Mount Everest. It zoomed in to the circled coordinate, and it shows a strip of silk flags. One with the crest was pulled, and flied over you, revealing the word 'SILK' with the crest.
