Rio de Janeiro is a city in Brazil. It was possibly chosen by leaders of the Tomas branch of the Cahill family to host the 2016 Summer Olympics due to a strategic purpose or to serve as a stronghold. It is unknown if the Tomas are currently active in the city.
James Cahill visited Rio de Janeiro while travelling after the death of his wife, Edith, and sent his children Beatrice, Grace, and Fiske a postcard from the city.
