Pennsylvania is a state in the northeastern United States and was one of the thirteen original colonies. Its capital is Harrisburg. The state's largest city is Philadelphia, the former home of Lucian scientist and statesman Benjamin Franklin and location of the Franklin Institute which appears in The Maze of Bones. This is the only time Pennsylvania would be visited in the entire series.
