Meriwether Lewis was a Tomas explorer, who lived from August 18, 1774, to October 11, 1809. He was hired by Thomas Jefferson, who was a Janus, to explore the new land bought from France. This excursion was called the Lewis and Clark Expedition, and it carried on from May 1804, to September 1806. Meriwether Lewis, along with William Clark, who also was a Tomas, explored the land. He died from mysterious gunshots, but it is unknown who killed him. (possibly the Vespers)
