Magnus Hansen is the head of the Tomas in Doublecross series. He was a member of Outcast Nathaniel Hartford's conspiracy to take over the Cahill family.

History

Magnus was a champion skier, winning four gold medals during the Winter Olympics during the 1990s while breaking many speed records. He was an active member of the Tomas, and was described by Fiske Cahill as "power hungry", but was rumored to have caused financial trouble for the branch, and disappeared for several years. He became branch leader shortly before the Cahill Family Summit, due to the influence of Nathaniel Hartford, succeeding Ivan Kleister or another Tomas as the head of the branch.

Magnus was one of a group of Cahills rebelled against family leader Ian Kabra at the Cahill Family Summit, under the direction of Nathaniel Hartford. Magnus personally ordered Ian and his second-in-command Cara Pierce to be thrown out of Cahill Manor, where the meeting was taking place.

Appearance

Magnus, an Olympic athlete, has a formidable physique, described as tall and fit. He is blond with gray-blue eyes. Typical attire for Magnus included a navy sweater and a blazer.

Personality

Magnus keeps to himself and can be condescending to other Cahills, especially the Madrigals.
