Halifax is a Canadian city, the capital of Nova Scotia. Halifax is a major commercial center in eastern Canada, especially known for its port. The city was the site of the explosion of the Mont-Blanc, a freighter, resulting in the deaths of thousands. Notable locations within the city include St. Paul's Church and its port, which employs Bill Hannigan as the head of its Port Authority, along with a receptionist.

During Cahill Outcast Nathaniel Hartford's attempted coup of the Cahill family, family leader Ian Kabra and a group of other Cahills visited Halifax, believing that the Outcast intended to recreate the destruction of the Mont-Blanc. The Cahills met weapons dealer James Atlas, who was smuggling weapons on the Aurora. Atlas was arrested, but the Aurora did not contain any explosives.
