Disco Volante is a music shop in Venice, Italy. It is actually an entrance to a Janus stronghold in Venice, which is located underneath it, underground. It may be that the shop was created specifically for that purpose. Its only appearance is in One False Note.

Appearances[]

One False Note[]

In One False Note, Amy, Dan and Nellie (with Saladin) follow the Wizards through Venice to Disco Volante, a shop which sells CDs. They waited outside the shop for more than ten minutes but realized that the Wizards had disappeared. Surprised, Amy decided to search the store while Nellie drew away the cashier, by snatching some discs from the shelves and running away.

As the cashier took the bait, Amy and Dan crept into the store and searched. Amy went to the listening booth (a small transparent soundproof enclosure) while Dan rummaged through the small office he had found at the back of the shop. Finding nothing, Dan goes to Amy and they spot a particular song on the playlist: Mozart's Adagio KV 617. They play the song, and the floor underneath them opens and they fall into the stronghold.

Disco Valante appears at the back of Card 11: Hidden Notes.
