Denise Starling is a member of the Starling family and, presumably, a part of the Ekaterina branch of the Cahill family. She was suspicious of Grace Cahill, to the extent that she severed ties with William McIntyre due to his close relationship with her. Because of this, it's possible she was involved with the hunt for the 39 Clues.
