Archimedes was an ancient Greek philosopher living in a Greek colony in Sicily. He famously qouted: "give me a fulcrum and a lever and I can move the earth". There have been many references to him in the books, giving us hints of the Vespers plan. He is said to have had the idea for the Machina Fini Mundi.
