Akira Kurosawa was a Japanese filmmaker, famous for directing films such as Sanshiro Sugata, Rashomon, and Seven Samurai. He was a member of the Janus branch of the Cahill family, and the Janus stronghold under Disco Volante in Venice, Italy had a section devoted to Kurosawa's works, but it is unknown if he was active in branch activities.
