I wish that they would just start already. I've read almost all the books, and this series deserves a movie or T.V. series. Over the past decade all these great people were already confirmed to make it, so what are they waiting for? Wasn't I supposed to be released in early 2016? How was it supposed to come out then if they haven't even started production? Please start!!!

there should be a movie per series plus i'm sure alot of people will watch it or better yet one per book maybe too short to be a movie but can make like alot of episodes on them and like post it on netflix or something people will watch it for sure

I see that it will be harder to make more than one movie of the 39 Clues because of the fact that the actors will age. I can see ways around that, though. But I wouldn't get all worked up if they decided to do one movie. I would suggest that a trilogy would work, I guess, for the first part of the book series. Like if for the first movie the actor for Dan was 10, but played an 11 year old, and the second movie the actor can be actually 11, and the third movie he can be 12 playing 11.
If there was on movie per book (the first series, 10 books) over the course of 10 years, the actors and actresses would age 10 years....what!?! Unless they changed actors. The fact that Logan Lerman was 10 years older in the Percy Jackson movie than the Percy Jackson book ruined it for me. But maybe there's just something wrong with me. But you have to admit the story was very different than the book, but similar enough to be considered based on the book.
The Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie also dosen't have one movie per book, because then Greg would be 20 by the eigth book!
It hope that because of Spielberg producing it, it will be a good film. And, taking into account that the younger actors/actresses will noticebly age, a TV series would be great.

There should be a movie for each book (including Cahill Files) but as we all know, that's most likely not going to happen. But maybe if they were to do it like this:
The 39 Clues: The Movie - Books 1,2, and 3
The 39 Clues 2: In Too Deep - Books 4,5, and 6
The 39 Clues 3: The Viper's Nest - Books 7,8, and 9
The 39 Clues 4: Into the Gauntlet - Book 10
The 39 Clues 5: Vespers Rising - Book 11
The 39 Clues: The Cahill Files - CF Books 1 and 2 (Released in double DVD set with Vespers Rising as short stories)
The 39 Clues 6: A King's Ransom - CvV Books 1,2, and 3
The 39 Clues 7: Shatterproof - CvV Books 4 and 5
The 39 Clues 8: Day of Doom - CvV Book 6
The 39 Clues 9: Nowhere to Run - Unstoppable Books 1,2, and 3
The 39 Clues 10: Unstoppable - Unstoppable Book 4

Which books? Will it be one book per movie, or all the books in one movie? I've been wondering this because it's "The 39 Clues: The Movie" and not "The 39 Clues: The Maze of Bones". Another possibility is they do 3 a movie
Books 1, 2 and 3 = Movie 1,
4,5 and 6 = Movie 2,
7,8 and 9 = Movie 3
10 and 11 = Movie 4
CvV Books 1,2 and 3 = CvV Movie 1
4,5 and 6 = CvV Movie 2
