Seriously, the books have gone a bit crazy with killing off characters. They completely forget the value of some of the characters. Like Natalie in Day of Doom. She just ran into a machine and died. No final words after 16 books of us seeing her. They killed her off in a way that they could've murdered any character. Yet since the first book, they've killed of Irina, Alistair, Evan, Natalie, Isabel, McIntyre, and Erasmus. They may seem like a small number but that's out of maybe 28 important characters. That means out of every 4 characters, 1 dies. To me that just seems like a high death rate. Who agrees that this feels a bit ridiculous?
